Tokyo – Nepal’s Mohan Maharjan won the Japan championship title at the final kickboxing held in the Tokyo dome last Satday. Dragon Mohan knocked down his opponent the Japanese boxer Daisuke at the final contest. Dragon Mohan was presented the champion belt along with the certificate of the championship title by the Japan Kickboxing Organization, while the Nepal Ambassador for Japan, Dr. Ganesh Yonjan Tamang garlanded him with a Khata (traditional silk) at the closing ceremony attended by hundreds of Japanese and Nepalese supporters resident in Japan. The Newah team congratulates Dragon Mohan for his grand success in winning the Japan championship.
