Yen, Nepal Mandala – In commemoration of the Martyrs’ Day being observed today amid various functions in Nepal, we extend our heartfelt salute to the Martyrs – Dharma Bhakta Mathema, Dasarath Chand, Gangalal Shrestha and Sukraraj Shastri and other martyrs, who died for the sake of our freedom for rights and democracy and rising against the oppressive regime. Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal paid his respect this morning at Bhadrakali and Lainchaur, where monuments have been erected in their honour.
