Yen (Kathmandu), Nepal Mandala – The 1st convention of the Newah Jagaran Manch (Newar Awakening Forum) held last satday in Yen (Kathmandu) elected a new executvie committee headed by its founder convener Sujeev Vajracharya. Other members elected in the EXCO were Haribahadur Manandhar and Amrit Tamrakar as Vice Presidents, Vijay Krishna Shrestha as General Secretary, Ratnakaji Maharjan as Secretary, Surya Bahadur Shrestha as Treasurer and Bal Krishna Khadgi and Pankaj Shrestha as Assistant Treasurer.
The members elected in the EXCO were: Mukesh Maske, Vijay Ratna Asanvare, Iswarman Singh Dangol, Rajeswar Sthapit, Denga Manandhar, Kritan Shrestha, Srikrishna Manandhar, Dheeraj Newah, Ananta Tuladhar, Vidyasagar Tamrakar, Dinesh Shrestha, Santosj Lall Shrestha, Manoj Tuladhar, Kiran Tamrakar and Saroj Sakya.
Meanwhile, CA Member Hitman Shakya (UNCP Maoist), CA Member Tirtharam Dangol (NC), Krishna Gopal Shrestha (UML-CC Member), Educationist Laxman Rajawamsi, Newah Leader Dr. Maheshman Shrestha were appointed as advisors of the forum and Paras Tamrakar as Advisor for the executive committee.
