Tokyo – Human rights activist leader and facilitator of Nepalโs peace process, Dr. Padma Ratna Tuladhar commended Newah unity for achievements of their agitation. Speaking at a felicitation program held in Tokyo in his honor on 17th January, he further said that it was all for the support received from millions of Nepalese led by Newah organizations like Manka Khala and many friends, the new government led by CPN Maoist reinstated Nepal Samvat calendar as National calendar after 30 years of non-stopped campaign and agitation. He also said that Nepal Bhasa has now been given due respect by the government media dropping the derogatory term of โNewariโ.
